Stronger Starts Learning

Support your child’s learning with clarity and confidence

Practical, research informed guidance for parents who want to make a meaningful difference at home

Who Are We For?

“We are for every parent who is motivated to give their child a strong start in life. Levels of parental support can vary widely - from full-time home education and flexible learning, to children who are temporarily out of education, and parents of children in full-time school who are looking for ideas to create short, impactful learning experiences.”

Alice Campbell: Founder of Stronger Starts Learning

Alice has a BA from The University of Nottingham and a Primary PGCE from University College London’s Institute of Education. She has taught primary school children in the UK, in Hong Kong and in Portugal. Alice has more than 10 years’ experience of educating children.

Why early learning support matters

Learning experiences gained during childhood are carried for life; they help shape how children see themselves as learners and how they respond to challenges over time. The right support at the right stage can strengthen confidence, independence and long term progress.

The role of parents in learning

Parents play an integral role in their child’s learning journey, particularly in the Primary years (age 4-11). Evidence consistently shows that when parents feel informed and equipped, children are better supported to make progress.

We focus on giving parents clear, practical guidance that can be used within everyday routines, not added as extra pressure.

What Stronger Starts Learning provides

Support is designed to help you make confident decisions about your child’s learning and development. Guidance is practical, structured and grounded in experience and learning research.

The focus is on approaches that are realistic for family life and sustainable over time, creating firm foundations upon which your child can truly thrive in their educational setting - whatever that may look like.

Support may include

  • Clear learning strategies you can apply at home

  • Simple routines that strengthen early skills

  • Activities chosen for impact, not volume

  • Explanations of why approaches work

  • Next steps tailored to your child

We are here to help you help your child. The people with the greatest influence on a child’s learning are their parents. The people best placed to provide meaningful learning experiences are their parents - and our role is to support parents in doing just that.
